Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to making hrr-foundation.org usable for everyone.
Last updated: May 2026
Our commitment
HRRF is committed to making our website, programs, and communications accessible to people with disabilities. Accessibility is not a one-time project — it's an ongoing practice we work on with every page and feature we publish.
Conformance status
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the international standard developed by the W3C. "Fully conformant" means the site fully meets the standard. "Partially conformant" means some portions of the site may not yet meet the standard. We currently consider hrr-foundation.org partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA, and we are actively working to close any gaps.
Compatibility
The site is built to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and to be compatible with widely used assistive technologies, including screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack), screen magnifiers, voice-recognition software, and keyboard-only navigation.
We test the site using a combination of automated tooling and manual review — including keyboard-only navigation, screen-reader walkthroughs, and color-contrast verification against the WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratio thresholds.
Known limitations
Some content — including older PDFs, partner-supplied media, and third-party embeds — may not yet fully meet our accessibility goals. Where this is the case, we will provide alternative formats on request.
Feedback and accommodations
